As a Church, we recognise and affirm the place of children and young people (aged under 18) and vulnerable adults in the life and ministry of the church and we take our responsibility for their safety and well-being seriously. Our current Safeguarding Policy is here (last reviewed March 2019).
Parish Safeguarding Officer
Our Safeguarding Officer is Jane Rowley (01480 890986 / safeguarding@eastleightonstone.com). Please get in touch with Jane if you have any questions about safeguarding or would like to report a concern. If you think that a child or vulnerable adult is at imminent risk you should contact the Police on 101. You can also contact Jason or Mike to discuss any matters of Safeguarding.

- Child-line: 0800 1111 (lines free and open 24 hours). Phone if you are a child or young person and are worried about anything.
- National Domestic Violence Helpline: 0808 2000 247 (lines free and open 24 hours). Phone if you are experiencing domestic abuse.
- Samaritans Helpline: 116 123 (open 24 hours). Phone if you feel you are struggling to cope and need someone to talk to.
- Action on Elder Abuse Helpline: 080 8808 8141 (free phone Monday to Friday 9-5pm)
